Hi, we are the Morris Family and we decided to create Stick to The Way when we ourselves struggled to recall God’s exact words when sharing the gospel.

We tend to paraphrase when sharing and though we have read and know Jesus’ teachings, quoting them book, chapter, and verse can be a struggle. We also homeschool our children with a classical approach to education and know how creating a timeline of events when memorizing can help organize the information for long-term storage in the brain.

Thus we decided to make a program that will combine a 5-day a week Bible Reading Plan with weekly memorization verses that we can utilize during our family devotional time every day. We wanted to do something fun with the verses so we added the stickers so that we could use them as visual reinforcement, memory testers, and as a creative way to help share the good news with those around us.

We also wanted to create a program that was non-denominational aimed at bringing Christians together. We believe the bible is the ultimate source of truth and those who are reading verses in context, seeking God, praying for wisdom and studding the scriptures daily will find THE WAY without us interfering with our thoughts or opinions on the scripture.

In our program you won’t find a long belief statement, you won’t find leading questions, you won’t find devotional guides telling you what we, or our congregation, think the scriptures mean. The only thing you will find is scripture in context. As we do believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and it is not to be added to or taken away from by Man. We believe anyone seeking the Truth can find it by searching the scripture daily.

Our ask of you is to read the scriptures as they have been prepared by the Holy Spirit in the Bible and ask yourself intelligent questions while reading such as:

• “Who is the author of this book?”

• “Who was the book written to?”

• “What was the original intent of this verse?”

• “What else was going on during this time period?”

• “How can this verse be used out of context?”

We also have decided to utilize the New King James Version of the bible as we found it to be the most accepted form of the bible across denominations and non-denominational congregations that the younger kids can still come to comprehend with a little help.
